Backup of About Us
Who are Mr. & Mrs. Panda, anyway?
Nora von Gadenstedt and Tobias Pirk have shared a deep love for nature and an eye for the beautiful moments in everyday life since early childhood. However, they initially had to experience this positive outlook on the world separately – Tobias in Hannover and Nora in Ravensburg by Lake Constance. A few years ago, fate brought them together. Since then, the lovebirds from the North have been living together in a charming half-timbered house surrounded by greenery. From the very beginning of their relationship, Tobias was enchanted by Nora’s drawings. For her, they were a delightful escape from everyday life; for him, a journey to another world.
One day, he had an idea: If I love these drawings so much, surely others will too. Once Nora was swept away by the idea, only a name was needed. With their shared love for wildlife, the choice was instant. Since then, they have been known as Mr. & Mrs. Panda. Their positive mindset and appreciation for nature are reflected in every one of their products. The unicorns, in particular, embody the carefree attitude of Mr. & Mrs. Panda.
How are the products of Mr. & Mrs. Panda created?
All Mr. & Mrs. Panda products are created in a small workshop in Hannover. In three steps, unicorns, owls and friends make their way to your home.
The Drawing Room serves as the birthplace for all new designs. Here, Mrs. Panda brings her ideas to life. Using watercolors, boundless creativity and an absolute attention to detail, she designs the new family members of Mr. & Mrs. Panda – from the mischievous cat, to the cheerful pig-horn, to the clever fox. For an artist, the studio is pure paradise.
In the second step, the process moves into Mr. Panda’s realm. In the so-called Nerd Room dedicated employees work diligently to transform the new drawings into products and publish them online. Meanwhile, design experts remove any stray marks around the designs.
In the third and final step, the products are crafted in the in-house Workshop.
Diligent assistants ensure that all items meet the high quality standards of Mr. & Mrs. Panda and are delivered safely to you.
