Who are Mr. & Mrs. Panda anyway?

Nora von Gadenstedt and Tobias Pirk have shared a deep love for nature and an eye for the beautiful moments in everyday life since early childhood. Initially, they experienced this positive outlook on their own – Tobias in Hanover and Nora in Ravensburg by Lake Constance. A few years ago, fate brought them together. Since then, this northern lovebird couple has been living in a charming half-timbered house nestled in nature. From the very beginning, Tobias was captivated by Nora’s drawings. For her, they served as an escape from everyday life; for him, they were a journey into another world.

One day, it occurred to him: "If I love these drawings so much, others will surely enjoy them too." After Nora was swept up by the idea, only a name was needed. Their shared love for the animal kingdom made the choice effortless. Since then, they have been known as Mr. & Mrs. Panda. Their positive outlook and appreciation for nature shine through in every one of their products. Notably, the unicorns capture the carefree spirit of Mr. & Mrs. Panda.

How are Mr. & Mrs. Panda products created?

All Mr. & Mrs. Panda products are crafted in a small workshop in Hanover. In three steps, unicorns, owls, and friends make their way to you.

The Drawing Room is considered the birthplace of all new designs. It is here that Mrs. Panda brings her ideas to life. Using watercolor, boundless creativity, and an eye for detail, she designs the new family members of Mr. & Mrs. Panda – from the cheeky cat to the cheerful pig-unicorn and the clever fox. For an artist, the studio is pure paradise. In the second step, the process moves to Mr. Panda’s domain. In the so-called Nerd Room, team members help transform new drawings into products and list them online, with design experts removing minor color smudges around the motifs. In the third and final step, the products are crafted in the in-house workshop.
